Deer Run Country Club sits in the Western Cincinnati hills and is ringed by trees, making for a unique championship golf course that will make a test for seasoned golfers and a learning experience for beginners. And, even if you don't golf the round of your life, you'll spend a day on perhaps the only golf course upon which you can watch the sun set over the Ohio River Valley amidst other vistas, such as the frolicking fauna.
A round at the Deer Run Golf Club kicks off long, with the par-5 first hole measuring 541 yards from the Beige tees; enjoy it, though as you'll only get to play such distance once more on the golf course, and then not until the 13th hole, which plays to 518 yards. A counterweight to the pair of long par 5s is the foursome of relatively short par 3s, all of which come in at under 200 yards. The 18th hole is right in the middle, at par-4 and 360 yards from the Beige tees.
After your round at the Deer Run Country Club, head back for a round at the Fairway Grill, which offers a full bar, a dining room and a casual grill room.
